DP Special - Cars made in Sweden, info from Konditori 100

Year and place: 1959, Skellefteå

Little seems to be known about the DP Special sports cars. At least three cars were built, a guess is around ten cars.

At least two of them were based on french Dyna Panhard, with aluminium bodies on steel tubes. They had a door on the left side only, but could have doors on both sides. The driver had a sports car seat with a special back, and such a seat could be mounted for the passenger too.

One DP Special was owned by someone in Lycksele, and later dumped in a marsh outside town. Around 1990 it was brought back to firm ground, with a renovation in sight. I don't know what happened with it.
