Year and place: 1916, Gävle
Engineer G Heijkenskjöld worked at Korsnäs Mekaniska Verkstad when he began constructing a 4-seated bicycle car. The chassis was made of hickory wood, and the body of a kind of cardboard. The body was lower than on other cars at the time, and had unusual straight and clean design.
The windshield and the radiator came from a Ford model T, and the engine came from an american Henderson motorcycle. Many other parts were constructed at the Korsnäs factory.
In 1917 the car had been tested enough, and serial production was planned. The first 20 cars were to be built in Stockholm.
Then started World War One, and it got impossible to import engines. Only one car was built, scrapped in the early 30s - and the parts gone with the wind.
