The 811 buses were made for two customers, in 1929-44. 88 with torpedo coaches for Sweden Post, and 112 with 'bulldog' coaches for the Swedish army and air force.

In 1942-44 chassis type 8116 was used for mobile radio centrals. Hägglund & Söner built the coaches. Some of these buses were in service well on into the 1970s.
