This series was produced 1932-35, with two models. LV71 had a wheelbase of 340cm and LV72 410cm. 3.275 were made. At this period the trucks often were delivered with 'standard' coaches built by Åtvidaberg.

Volvo LV71E, 1933. It was initially built as a normal truck, used by a brewery in Torsby.

Gustavssons Karossfabrik in Mora used the chassis of a 1933 Volvo LV72 when they made the first fire engine in Rättvik.
