The PV 82 was only produced 1947-48. Around 800 were made. The chassis is in the PV (personvagn, 'personal car) series, but as far as I know I've only seen them as smaller trucks.
Volvo PV824, 1948.
The body was made in aluminium from the torpedo and backwards, by Örebro karosserifabrik.
I saw it at Brandnostalgi in Gysinge in 2003, but also at the car meet Prins Bertil Memorial 2002 in Stockholm.

Volvo PV823 -48.
This car was equipped to support firemen who shall walk into the smoke. It also have room for a stretcher.
