This page show photos of the Volvo PV445 Duett cars built 1953-60 as vans (3.859 units in 5 models) and 1955-60 as sedans (9.126 units in 5 models). And the P210 that took over 1960-69 (60.959 in 8 models). It was built on a separate box frame, and can carry 500kg. The Volvo Duett is one of my favourite cars.

A 1958 Sedan

P210, 1958
This model was marketed as 'the seven day car' - used for work five days a week, and for your spare time in the weekend. This is a 445PH from 1955.
P210:
The one in the middle is a 210A from 1960. (To the left a 445 chassis from 1955, built as a pick-up.)

This Duett from 1965 is used by the museal tram company in Stockholm.(1997).
A long Duett, or isn't it?

I like this one, a former military 210 with a roof hatch that you can fold to the side - and stand up through the opening.
To take photos from certain perspectives can make a car look longer than usual.
(And the light from the sun can make it look darker...)
On the other hand, some cars are longer than usual.

Camping for a duo on a Duett
A good look under the hood.
